Can't connect to Nintendo WFC

     I cannot connect to the Nintendo WFC on my DSi for Pokemon platinum. What happens is I get on to my game go to the selection nintendo WFC settings I click Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings then I click connection two and under that it says none then I click search for an access point but my internet doesn't come up whichis wierd because my system settings are connected please some one help Im getting very frustrated and sad.
