Mario Kart DS cannot connect using WPA security. You would have to downgrade to WEP (or remove security entirely on your router) to be able to play online. I'd note that WEP is no longer considered secure, so you should switch to WPA2-PSK (AES) when you are not using the DS online. Nintendo has more information here. Image may be NSFW.
